Takes 2.5 hrs plus any hop off time. Buses come by every 20 minutes or less (depending on season).

No reservations needed. Your ticket is Activated when you first get on any bus and lasts for the rest of that day and all of the next day.

Primary Loop Operates: Daily from 10:00am – 5:00pm. Every 30 minutes (subject to change). Route is 2.5 hours. Last Bus returns to Fisherman’s Wharf circa 7:30 pm.
Start on any day you like, but your ticket is valid only on that day.
You will travel over the Golden Gate Bridge where you can get off at the north end Vista Point stop. Walk out on the bridge at your own pace, or just stay for a quick, but spectacular view.
Live Narration is in English. You can also choose recorded narration in multiple languages on the primary red line loop.
Select stops are located at or near: The Haight/Ashbury district, Victorian homes, Chinatown, North Beach, Union Square, Financial District, Golden Gate Park, City Hall, the Palace of Fine Arts, Lombard Street, and more.
Your adventure also includes the 2 hour blue line City at Night Tour Loop by bus with 2 stops.

- 2-Day Explore ticket also includes walking tour option.
- Upon purchase, you will receive an email Voucher showing your purchase
- This Voucher will need to be shown/exchanged with Big Bus.
- Your ticket starts when you activate the ticket get on any bus and lasts for the rest of that day and the next day.
- You can begin your bus tours from Union Square, Fisherman’s Wharf, or any stop along the Big Bus route.
- The Big Bus red line primary loop takes roughly 2.5 hours if you stay on the bus; Each time you hop-off will add to the length of your trip.
- Big Bus City at Night Tour departures are at 6:30pm. Big Bus City at Night Tour leaves ONLY from Stop #1, located at Pier 41, Fisherman’s Wharf.
- If the night tour is your first bus trip, your 2-day clock will begin the next morning. You also can choose to do the Night Tour component on an evening after the 2-day clock expires, however the Night Tour must be used within 7 days of Hop-Hop-off Activation.
- Walking Tours must be used within 7 days of Hop-Hop-off Activation.
- Tours are free for kids under age 3.
